Tomboy girl Amanda was a Blonde little girl with blue eyes. She loved her family, her friends and the farm life. Nothing in this awful world could ever bring her spirit down. It was about a 100 meters long and it was very high. Her brothers, Hans junior and Robert were the first to try it out. All the kids in town, came to visit them daily, just to get a slide on the zip line and to swim in the dam. There were many friends daily, and they played a lot of games, like hide and seek, (in the poplar tree forest), swimming in the cement dams, shooting each other with shot slings, playing kleilat ( A children's game in which balls or pellets of clay are flicked at an opponent with a flexible stick)and chasing the bucks in the field.
