The rise and fall of Highlord Darion Mograine, along with the corruption and purification of his sword, Ashbringer, is a tale not many think to tell. As Darion dies, he passes along the sword to Tirion Fordring. Once Tirion dies, Unith Fulton is handed the great sword of his ancestors. While visiting the graves of his long gone family, Unith comes into contact with a stray spirit. This spirit was once a night elf Huntress by the name Mythaania Silverspear.

Here is a story that I submitted in order to apply for the 2015 round of Blizzard Entertainment summer internship opportunities. It takes the story of a legendary sword from Warcraft's past and ties it together with events in the current expansion, Warlords of Draenor. My goal was to forge a link between disparate story threads which had been left dangling and bring them into the larger mythos of the universe of the Warcraft series.
