[~Book One to the Major Tom Series~] "My momma said, 'To get things done, you'd better not mess with Major Tom.'" Major Tom is back on Earth. People want to know what its like in space, the final frontier. Tom doesn't want to talk about it and would like to live without the fact that he's now a star back home. After a few weeks of getting used to Earth's gravity, Tom realizes that his health is getting drastically worse. He's forced to go to the hospital and after being pronounced dead due to lung collapse, he returns to Earth as Tom Greene, a man who never went to the moon, never got the fame, and a man who never dies in that hospital bed. He still calls himself Major Tom, but puts on a different persona of someone who hates the world instead of the press in hopes to make it seem like he isn't the man he was.

I was furious at the way Ashes ended. It was beautiful and broken and GALEX DESERVED BETTER. Here is my fix-it fic. Enjoy!

Reeve is still living on the island and Lillia is going to college in Boston. Lillia gets a call one day to come straight back to the island. She's about to graduate college but still rushes home. She's only going back because it's an emergency otherwise she wouldn't have even thought about going. None of her friends live there anymore except for Reeve. But her parents still have the house and visit for the summer that's where they are now. Read to find out what happened that's so urgent she needs to rush back to Jar Island. Or what Reeve has to do with this whole thing. Disclaimer: I don't own the burn for burn trilogy or any of the characters. This is just a fanfiction.

The Crone, Mathilda has been aged up during the time of the Hessian's death (instead of a little girl, She was 19 when he died) The Hessian's Death has been moved up the timeline as well, taking place 20 years prior to the events of the murders.
