The way I imagined the continuation............ It is the continuation of Dekha Ek Khwaab, an indian television series which started on 21st November, 2011 and its last episode, episode no. 173, was aired on 2nd of August 2012. It was a beautiful piece of art and was based on the book princess diaries but not exactly the same. The show was loved mainly by teenagers. I was 12 when I watched the show. I liked it because every character in the show was written and portrayed in a unique manner, the direction was perfect and the actors were talented enough to depict their POVs. With time, I really wanted to see Manyata becoming a strong character throughout the show mainly after dealing with all those confusions and revelations which surrounded her life after she became the Yuvrani (crown princess). But unfortunately the show was rushed to ending and that character couldn't develop much. She was seen like a confused personality all the time. But, no worries, here I am writing my imagination, using the facts, the makers left unresolved in the ending, most importantly Akash, whose fate wasn't decided in the ending.... The story will start from the scene when Uday saw Manyata with Akash in restaurant so, he left Manyata there in the restaurant as he was heartbroken and angry, i.e. the story will start exactly before Uday's accident. Someone told me about this serial - Dekha Ek Khwaab. I was already a fan of Priyal Gor then so I started watching this from the very beginning and couldn't help falling in love with the serial, with Priyal Gor, with Aashish kapoor, with manveer. But obviously, when the show ended out of nowhere, all of us were very disappointed. We all wanted Manveer to reconcile but it seemed that, all the events took place hastily to help make the show end beforehand. Manveer's chemistry was very limited and a lot of unnecessary drama consumed most of the time so, thought of recreating the show myself and relive the magic of Dekha Ek Khwaab. It has the essence of the original story but also is unique. Hope you will like it.

This is the story of Manyata Mehra and Uday aka Udayveer Singh and Rohan (the Villan). This is a story where Manyata Mehra is madly in love with a guy called Rohan. so long ago i used to watch this show called dekha ek khawaab. it had so much potential and scope for character development but the writers didn't do justice to the story line as a lot of characters remained underused and the main couple never got the required focus. so i am rewriting the show from the middle from where i think it started to go south. the story begin after episode 75 where komal takes manyata to meet akash and asks her to run away with him but she refuses. the difference here is that she doesn't go to the office akash interviews in but instead in the chawl. there is no problem with the jon as akash has got a good job without anyone's influence and does not come to fight with moniya. I think after this episode in the show manyata and uday's relationship started to become toxic where manyata was utterly selfis and naive, only went to him when she needed something and always ended up hurting him. also she ended up repeating the same mistaked which made the show go in circles. in my fanfiction uday and manyata are still friends and they are bonding very well. manyata's princess training is still going on under vijay's supervision and she is starting to bond with each and every member of the family. brijraj is still angry at her because of all the akash fiasco and jay is still a bitch. there is a lot of room for character development for manyata's characters which was not shown to us in the show as it ended midway and she remained the same confused maiden she was in the beginning. but i want to show how she can grow into a efficient Yuvrani of devgarh and a successful businesswoman. i didn't want to just remove akash because i don't want manyata to choose uday just because she doesn't have aby other option. i want her to choose him over everyone else. in short i want uday to sweep manyata away from under akash's nose.(evil smirk) so let me know how do you like the plot and whether or not i should continue the story.

I just love the show Dekha Ek Khwaab. It's been so many years, still its my favourite. but the show ended really soon, so I'm writing this fanfiction according to me. In my story, manyta is not illiterate, but interning as a doctor. Uday is handsome, clever and selfish yuvraj but let's see what happens when he falls in love with Manyata. This is my first writing so please ignore my grammatical mistakes. I hope you guys like it.
