You are up in Castelia City in the south central Unova region, estranged from your Eevee particular family of Pokemon trainers in Pallet Town. Your mother ran away from your family due to the pressure of evolving her Eevee and chose to lead an urban life in the city. But you grew up watching Pokémon matches and battles on TV while your mom was at work and dreamed of becoming a Pokemon trainer. Against your mother's wishes, you set out on your journey, determined to prove yourself to her, to yourself and find our what Pokemon and you mean to you.

This is a short one shot and quite different from other stories, since I let you insert your OTP character shipping with Ash or you could insert yourself, the reader, in this short story. Also that this can take place in any region.
