Nini Salazar- Roberts is an 18 year old singer-songwriter who has recently taken her claim to fame under the guidance of Jamie Porter, a friends brother. As school in California becomes more overwhelming, she decides to return to SaltLake city, where the wildcats, blissfully unaware of her arrival, prepare for the spring musical. But, when she returns, there's more in store for Nini then she expected. And she finds herself falling for an East High junior with a passion for dance.
