Meet Jess Lewis, a 17 year old girl who goes to school, gets okay grades and has a part time job. A normal teenage girl. Meet Ashton Irwin, a 19 year old guy who dropped out of school, lives alone, and owns a music shop downtown. A not-so-normal teenage boy. Where two people meet at a music shop downtown and slowly start to fall in love.

After falling into a bad stage in his life, 18 year old Ashton Irwin was sent to a high school in a small town where nobody knew his name. Paisley Michaelson was an independent, and seemingly happy small town girl. She is persuaded into a school trip to Croatia, her first time out of Canada. As their worlds collide, Ashton and Paisley will find comfort in eachother, outside of their comfort zones.
