Her family was tense often, her mother always belittling Rhaenyra, who was Viseryia's half sister. Her brothers were stains on their name, memorable for the wrong reasons. Her sister was kind, but the people called her strange. And yet Viseryia thought things were all right. Then her brother usurped the throne. And everything burned.
