Ash wakes up in a cold dark dungeon without his memory. With help from a certain stranger, he will need to regain his memories and uncover a secret that has been hiding in the shadows for centuries. From dark gods to loves to delta, what else has been hiding all this time? Note: This takes place after Sun and Moon but before Sword and Shield. In this book I will be using fakemon from various fangames and pictures on the internet. If your confused, you can look it up. Feel free to add feedback or story suggestions in the comments. Lots of the time I try to find fan fictions, but sometimes they feel like they've changed the story too much from the original so it feels like the only thing the characters share with the anime are their names, the people's personalities completely different. Sometimes they aren't complete or are too short, so I'm gonna write my own where it meets my own criteria, not too different, but not completely the same. I also want to try writing in Rick Riordan style. This is my first story, so enjoy.

After several months of seeing each other, Clinton asks Abigail to be his wife. Elated, Abigail accepts. That night, the African fiancée receives a threat by a hand-written letter, stating that if she doesn't step back from Clinton, some horrible harm would come to him. Abigail's heart is shattered, but she knows she could never be held responsible for her loved one's death. Abigail meets with Clinton under the cover of the next night, and coldly returns the engagement ring, hoping against hope that her manner would turn him away from her, and toward safety. A year later, Abigail is finding it harder and harder to stay safe in the community that brands her more as an animal then a human, and boards a ship to travel to a distant relative, leaving behind all dreams of a life with Clinton. Clinton hears talk of Abigail Simmons leaving, and makes plans to board the same ship. Events that followed Abigail's rejection made him believe that it was more out of intimidation, and less out of a change of heart, and the man is eager to restore the link their souls once owned. However, things don't go quite according to plans, and a wild storm lands the two of them on an island, stranded. As events unfold, it seems the prejudice that held the two apart still lurks on the island. Abigail and Clinton discover others on the island, but would failed to discover the scheme that they had in mind until it's too late. Though the trials and hellish trauma, Clinton strives to show Abigail that no matter the views of their society, if she lets go of the fear that shackles her heart, love will allow them to unite. But even Clinton starts to doubt if he can chip the cold lies and hatred away from Abigail's heart before they completely freeze and distort any hope of them becoming as one. Sometimes, love is not enough and some things were never meant to be; you just have to accept it and learn to let go. My mind understands that you're gone but my heart refuses to accept it. I must move forward even if it's hard...even when you left my heart empty. Maybe it's not always about trying to fix something that is broken. Maybe it's about starting over and creating something better. If you love me, please let me know. If not, please gently let me go. Sometimes, we have to let go of something that once meant the world to us, not because we want...but because we have to. "I can't stand seeing you. It's not because I hate you, but because I know every time I look at you, my heart will tear a little more 'cause I can never have you. I don't want you to ever forget about me. I don't want you to leave, please don't." -Chaeyonne
