A teenage boy gets left alone in a mental institution and keeps getting visits from strange people; when all he wants is the answer to why he is there.

Heyllo everyone, if you too were scarred by the ending of ASOTM and want a logical and sensible ending that ISN'T completely horribly depressing like the original ending, then boy howdy is this the read for you. All Brendon had was his two best friends, Dallon Weekes and Spencer Smith. On their way home from a party, they get into a car crash where Dallon and Spencer are both killed. Brendon becomes selectively mute for the next year and a half, his parents have no time to deal with him so he's sent to a mental institution for the troubled youth. Ryan Ross was a boy that never really had much. It's not that his family was poor, they just didn't like the thought of spending money on Ryan. He was a respectful boy most of his life, he always gave his parents respect even when they were awful to him. He had bin used so many times but he always forgave and always tried to stay positive. One day Ryan loses it and goes off on everyone. It's so bad that his doctors and his therapist recommend that he be kept in a mental institution for troubled youth until he recovers from this. Ryan and Brendon's rooms are right next to one another and the walls here are thin. NOTE: I did get inspiration to write this from ASOTM so be warned it WILL be like that but not exact word for word, it won't be as intense but their will be a few similarities, all credit goes to the writer of ASOTM and I am in no way trying to take credit, I just wanted a story like ASOTM but for Ryden. If the Author of ASOTM wants me to take this story down please Message so we can discuss it and I will.

I rewrote the famous My Chemical Romance fan fiction, A Splitting of the Mind, and put Awsten Knight and Geoff Wingington's names instead of Gerard Way and Frank Iero. Enjoy! :) (By the way I am not claiming to have written this original story it is by the lovely @GaiaMDMA I am not taking credit for any of this other than switching out the names and a few themes just to have it make more sense with the switched characters)
