Freen, an astronomer, has always found solace in the stars. A prodigy who finished her Master degree by 24, also teaches part-time at her alma mater, Chulalongkorn University. Orphaned young and having lost her beloved aunt seven years ago, Freen lives a life shaped by quiet routines and empty rooms, where her telescope is her only constant companion. Her one true warmth comes from the local orphanage, where she volunteers to fill the silent spaces in her heart. Rebecca, diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome, finds her entire universe not in the sky, but in the machines that conquer it. Aeroplanes are her world - their engines, models, wingspans, histories, even the aircraft used in the world wars. Her vast knowledge and intense fascination with aviation are her primary ways of understanding and connecting with the world. Raised by orphanage owners Dion and Helena Armstrong, Rebecca lost her mother a decade ago and now navigates life under the gentle care of her father, Dion. One day, during her usual visit to the orphanage, Dion asked Freen for a favour - one that would change her life forever. P/s: Asperger's Syndrome, a form of Autism Spectrum Disorder, is a developmental disorder. People who have this type of ASD tend to have a hard time relating to others socially. They may stick to a very specific routine and have a narrow set of interests. Although the term Asperger's isn't an official diagnosis anymore, some people still use the term to describe autistic people who are "high-functioning" or who have low support needs.

Two friends who were training to be professional merfolk become real merfolk one of them autistic. They are on the big adventure of their lives to save the world. Note I don't own H2O Just Add Water or Mako Mermaids all copyrights to these shows belong to Jonanthan M. Shiff Productions. I wrote this story because I was inspired by my friendship with someone who I'm close friends with, the fact she and I are working on becoming a professional merfolk, and we like both shows. Plus I also wanted to make a character with autism for the H2O universe not to mention I also wrote this to help me deal with anxiety.

EVERYDAY LIFE OF AN ASPIE is a comprehensive guide and tour to what Aspergers Syndrome is all about. Little or inaccurate information exists about this psychological disorder. Kerrin, an educated and well-read young woman with this disorder who is well known on You-tube and Facebook for her passion in enlightening people about Aspergers Syndrome, finally puts her vast knowledge and experience into paper. She writes about the disorder and relates her own life experiences, for the readers to know what Aspergers Syndrome patients, whom she calls 'Aspies' go through every day. Being an Aspie is not a curse, neither is it a tragedy. Aspies are unique, talented, resourceful and special group of people. They should not be stigmatized and seen as abnormal. Rather, they should be accepted, loved and allowed into the society at large, supported and reached out to. More research should be done on how to help them with this disorder. This book provides a lot of information about what life is for those with this condition, which cannot be provided by those that are not in the shoes. It would be of great help to medical experts to learn more about this disorder with its right diagnosis. Also, for the public to have a better awareness and understanding about it and for them to know how to love, treat, support, and show care to those with it.

A fictional memoir of a brother and sister's intertwined fate and inner landscapes, Requiem explores dysfunctional relationships and their individual struggles to find what they can, and can't, live without. After the sudden death of their mother, siblings Sven and Sigrid face numerous upheavals. Sigrid recalls her perception of their losses--detailing the relative isolation in which they were raised--an atmosphere which precipitates a crisis that threatens the siblings' mutual survival. Only afterwards does she begin to piece together a clearer picture of their childhood, revealing both the extent of cycling violence and the secrets her older brother tried to hide from her. Random Excerpt: "Beyond excited to announce that I'm giving up! No dating for this guy, not anymore. I'm so grateful for this opportunity to restrict myself exclusively to one-night stands and can't wait to see where this decision takes me. Today is the first day of the rest of my life and I will start as I mean to go on: I plan on being as useless as the G in lasagna." He'd disappeared into his room, coming back with a large bottle of scotch. "Dear liver, it's going to be a rough ride till the end of the year. Stay strong my precious champion, stay strong," he mumbled, rubbing his beer belly. "Adulthood in general is bullshit." "Life is bullshit," I corrected him. "Aww, our dark little bundle of thunderstorm," Seamus fake-cooed. "Why did adults lie to us all those years about how great it is, making it sound like there's an obvious path, a life plan that's a matter of course."

Two problems. One solution. And a crash landing into love. Things Pippa enjoys: her job, airplanes, synonyms and tropical fish. Things Pippa does not enjoy: repeating patterns, tight clothes, people asking why she's single and school reunions. After four months of only speaking over intercom, when air-traffic controller Pippa Edwards finally meets pilot Andrew Boyce-Jones face-to-face, they discover they've got much more in common than simply working at the same airport. In fact . . . they both need a date. Tired of every relationship ending before it's even begun, Pippa wants to evade the inevitable questions at her dreaded ten-year school reunion in Cape Town. And Andrew needs to get his well-meaning family off his back about settling down. The solution seems simple. A pact - a fake dating pact - for as long as it's mutually beneficial. It's perfect. Or at least it would be if their very real attraction wasn't about to make Pippa question everything she thought she wanted. . .

For Ana, it felt like a switch had been turned on inside her. She could sense freedom, imagine possibilities she hadn't thought possible. She wants to leave her caregivers, and when she does, she wants to take Evan with her. In fact, she must take Evan, because he is the only one who can show her the way to The Place - the only place she can recall ever feeling completely happy. ... In a world that bleeds with environmental disasters, genetic mutations become more common - some genes get lost and other, silent genes get turned on. Nature offers infinite possibilities to ensure life continues through genetic codes that struggle to survive, unheard and often unnoticed. It is a battle where dominant, aggressive genes best suited to the environment will succeed. Both Ana and Evan have been labelled with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) - a genetic disorder, affected by the environment. It is a world wide condition, knowing no boundaries and increasing rapidly. Since disabilities such as ASD are triggered by our changing environment, and since these disabilities are rapidly changing and increasing in frequency, it is entirely possible that the ideal "disability" could give some humans an evolutionary advantage over other humans. ... Imagine having a disability so severe you need 24 hour care. Imagine wanting to leave your home and caregivers to live in the one place you feel at peace. Imagine discovering you have abilities far beyond the norm. Imagine finding other people with similar abilities and disabilities, willing to risk everything to follow you. Imagine freedom. Ana did.
