His Senpai is named Ashton, Kaliq starts to experience feelings for the guy, the guy is 17, turning 18 in 3 months. You, my friend, may have been born to parents who have Asperger's Syndrome. Asperger's is a form of Autism Spectrum Disorder that can mimic other personality disorders. Most people don't get tested for Asperger's Syndrome. It isn't an illness, but more a learning style that might be much different from your's. People with Asperger's learn in more visual or pattern-like ways. They struggle to learn from school or text-based learning. They seem to be oblivious to the world around them. They tend to isolate themselves, and they are often workaholics. They don't seem to know how to act around other people. Their words may be extremely hurtful, critical and rude because they lack a part in their brain that helps them to be nurturing and caring.

This story is intended to be a comedy-drama with elements of suspense and action. The setting is only several years in the future, when things are hardly different from now. The title character, Shirlocke, is a sleuth who considers herself a kind of modern day Sherlock Holmes. She is assisted by her companion, a sentient robot. I completed the first draft of this story about a month ago. Since then I've been working on my "Photosynthesis" novel (I need a better name for it) and had a quick interlude with my very short story, "Recuperate". At some point I'll go back and revise the "Shirlocke" story. It probably has lots of errors -- grammar, spelling, and plot errors. If you find any please let me know.
