This is an anthology of poems told through the voices of Hades and Persephone. Written as if they were sending letters to each other across the six months they spend apart, these verses capture longing, darkness, bloom, and the ache of love that spans both underworld and earth. Each poem is a fragment of a mythic love story - not of captivity, but of choice, power, and yearning.

Fate doesn't make mistakes.

In the Odyssey, Homer described the realm of the dead as a meadow of Asphodels. And just like Higanbana in Japanese Culture, the Ancient Greeks use the Ashphodels as one of the symbols of Death.

Bane La Mortis lives on the streets, every day being a battle for survival. But meets a man in a black cloak, he finds out that he is the son of Hades, King of the Underworld, Lord of the Dead and God of Wealth. But will he be able to prove himself an able ruler of the dead? Will he be able to prove his innocence to the Olympian Council? Or will he and his father be trapped forever in the Underworld...or worse...the depths of Tartarus?

There are no words worth speaking, and death is just inevitable silence. I've inherited more money than I'll ever need, but for some reason it's inappropriate to resign oneself to spinsterhood after only one season. I'd put up a fight, but it seems a waste of breath when my quietness is a very effective deterrent.

Dead. That's what all the students at Underworld Academy were. Dead, invited to Hades's academy, gaining ranks, and having "another chance at life". That was what Regina Hollows went through when she died, and was wrongly sent to Asphodel. Everyone has high hopes for Regina, but when she is ranked the lowest, she must climb her way back up. Then, several students fall under the Curse of Calypso and are lost to the Thorn Cavern. Regina must figure out how to get the Cure, so that they can save the students before they are lost forever.
