What drives a human to seek their own demise? What drives an angel to choose to Fall?

Turns out the gods aren't all that popular in the mortal realm anymore. Persephone's powers are in high demand, and mortal men will stop at nothing to use her against the gods. Just a collection of poetry that I write. Yes, it's just another collection of poetry written by another angsty teenager. Sorry I'm not a professional and I don't have as much life experience, but I really don't care. I'm just going to write. I could say that I'm not like other teens, I could say I'm better than them when it comes to the drama and foolishness. That could be true. But, it also may not be. You can decide for your own, but it really doesn't matter. I write just to write. Just like how I dance. This is the first thing I've posted on here, so please try to restrain any hate mail or what ever things you might want to say if you have any problems with it. If you don't like it, don't read it. If you have a problem, please talk to me about it and I'll fix it. Poetry is something I love, and though I prefer reading it, I can't help but try writing it myself. Oh, and I'll try my best to keep any whiney, stupid poems about silly affections and such. Don't worry.

Isolation can be devastating. But love...can destroy everything around you. For Persephone, isolation is being kept under the suffocating gaze of her mother, treated like a child and forbidden from interaction with her own kind or the mortal people under her care. Asphodel finds a friend on the journey.

In the Odyssey, Homer described the realm of the dead as a meadow of Asphodels. And just like Higanbana in Japanese Culture, the Ancient Greeks use the Ashphodels as one of the symbols of Death.

Dead. That's what all the students at Underworld Academy were. Dead, invited to Hades's academy, gaining ranks, and having "another chance at life". That was what Regina Hollows went through when she died, and was wrongly sent to Asphodel. Everyone has high hopes for Regina, but when she is ranked the lowest, she must climb her way back up. Then, several students fall under the Curse of Calypso and are lost to the Thorn Cavern. Regina must figure out how to get the Cure, so that they can save the students before they are lost forever.
