[Warning: Characters in the story are human!] Snowdin High School was ranked the most boring schools in Snowdin Village itself. You, a normal student attending the school, realized why. No one participates in spirit days, the jocks aren't even motivated enough to even try during sports seasons, the same old same old served in the cafeteria daily, and other factors that resulted to make the school a not so happy place to be. Suddenly, new students were entering the school at the start of the year, making things a lot more interesting. Some like Undyne pushed people harder after beating the whole team in one go while others like Mettaton brought back fashion in a "uniform-only" campus. A single parent with two high school children took the opportunity to be a teacher, and thus, created a wacky learning environment. For some reason, everyone wants to befriend Asriel, a boy who can communicate using flowers and has a talking flower of his own. You and Frisk, a male friend of yours, decided to adjust to the new students. The results are hilarious beauty in the eyes of the whole school. Now you ask me: What can go wrong? After falling into a timeline where nobody was murdered, his mother never died, and his father was never erased, Sans should be ecstatic that he has a second chance with his loved ones. But there is no denying the trauma he'd been through, either. Everyone is supposed to be dead, after all. What if Frisk comes back to take it all away again?

The reader will have no part in this, and they will not be shipped with anyone. •This exists outside of canon to an extreme. For example, Frisk is the second human and not the eighth. •There will be OCs, but only for a few humans and they still technically exist in normal Undertale. •There is a sequel. I'm planning on rewriting it after this one, as it is much more random and definitely needs it. Clanky, plot holes/retconning, etc. It's more of an OC thing, to explore them and their issues, than an Undertale thing, but it has its similarities. •There will be some explicitives. It won't be unnecessary or excessive, only when it fits the situation and character. I will not be using any slurs, as that's just plain disrespectful, even if some of them apply to me. "The Time Before" by ANinnyMouse42 is the backstory for Sans in this AU with some adjustments (mainly since that was very close to my original idea before I read it and I don't want people to think I copied their masterpiece or smth, if you haven't read it please do so, it's really good). Some things will be in reference to the other books in the trilogy or "From War to Science" by Emotistic-optimistic. If you haven't, read that too. It's really good (along with its sequel). Two twins, that want to change the world, but they are alone...so they decided to walk to Mount Ebott...the first girl, she has two pink cheeks and a green sweater with a yellow stripe. The second one has a blue sweater with two pink stripes...they are DETERMINED to stay alive, and someone to love doesn't hurt...

Sans is a pun loving skeleton who loves to sleep and slack off at work so when he started to change everyone began to notice it very quickly. They all brush it off thinking that it was nothing serious but they could not be more wrong. All characters of this story belong to the game Undertale made by Toby Fox. This story is a prequel to the AU "The Soul of Love" focusing on the past and the origins of Asara's mother, Chara. You will discover her childhood on the surface, her fall to the Underground and her rise as the future queen of monsters.
