Despite him interrupting my meal I smiled at the taste of coppery blood that coated my teeth and lips. So I had drawn blood. My nemesis's eyes zeroed in on me, going completely still as I licked my lips of any remaining red splotches. "You're a fucking heathen," Luka laughed, his confident voice contrasting with his entranced gaze before ruining me with the end of his sentence. "If you think you have any chance of escaping me after this lamb, you're dead wrong," Everything went deathly still as I took in his last promise, "I'm not done with you yet." A lion toying with it's prey before savagely devouring it.
