From his popularity status as the biggest jock around, to him being a longterm criminal outside of School. In Will's world, he often hears assumptions about his home life, and a disturbing rumour about it attacks Will's reputation, causing everyone to not only fear, but turn against him. When assumptions, rumours, and accusations are the most popular subject in town; Rookie and Will have no one else but each other. What they don't know is how close it really brings them.
