She's the monarch, the future queen of a kingdom bustling with magic and myth. She would be the most renowned and praised person in the land. Never once overcome by power or wealth, she envied her people's simple, free lives. So, Lantana runs away, into freedom, and from the throne. Years later, she is found and returned to her kingdom. Sorrow, despair, and disappointment all come with the sudden lifestyle change. Along with the negative comes a new, powerful feeling of leadership. The home Lantana is reintroduced into is nothing like how she remembers it. Taken a nasty turn for the worse, her kingdom is being wracked with disaster because of her father's mistake. In the heart of downtown Toronto, as winter sets in, a high-powered vice president reflects on the pressures of his demanding corporate job. After yet another late night at work, he realizes he has forgotten an important file at the office. As he turns to retrieve it, he is suddenly attacked by a hooded figure-his former manager, whom he fired for embezzlement. In a shocking confrontation, the man stabs him multiple times, leaving him bleeding on the sidewalk as chaos erupts around him. 
In his final moments, he grapples with regret, longing for his family and the life he could have led. Just as darkness envelops him, he hears a strange voice announcing his transfer to another world and bestowing upon him the name "Viktor" and the class of "Monarch." 
When he regains consciousness, he finds himself in an opulent room, lying beside a beautiful woman who calls him "my prince" before closing her eyes for the last time. A frantic maid bursts in, calling for help, and soon a king enters, revealing that the woman is the queen. Amidst the mourning, the king cradles Viktor, promising to love him as he carries him away, setting the stage for an extraordinary journey of rebirth and destiny.

Navigating personal problems, rivalries, and of course the trouble in everyone's mind is the adventure of a lifetime.
