Unbeknownst to our Tav, Astarion is extremely keen on gaining her trust for one reason: survival. Will she continue on a path to redemption or once again fall victim to her dark urges? Baldur's Gate 3 fanfiction/Non-Druge/SPOILERS AHEAD . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Majin Buu was among the handful of people captured and infected with an illithid parasite from Baldur's Gate. She felt like an alien among her own comrades from the Nautiloid crash, slowly traversing their stories and challenges as she struggled to find her place among them. Majin sought comfort in Astarion as he manipulated her kindness for his own gain, but as they adventured together for a cure for the parasite that plauged them, he fell for her unending patience and willingness to decipher the poem carved into his back by his master. These short scenes are the in between moments of the game or the epilogue.
