In the chaotic and vibrant neon lit roads of New Eridu, the last remaining city on earth, home to millions of people as the last remnants of humanity huddle into one last bastion that stands against the hollows. In a turn of events a mysterious meteor crashes into the outer ring, but to those of excellent vision, the 'meteor' was too strange to be a meteor, it felt too smooth, it's movements too deliberate. As the city meets giants clad in yellow and gold bearing an aquila never before seen, hailing from a home far into the stars. Things begin to change.

With those final, mocking words from a dying sorcerer, Lieutenant Demetrian Titus is hurled into the screaming void of the Warp. He expects the end; instead, he crashes into a world of neon lights, celebrity heroes, and a morality far softer than the cold steel of the Imperium. In the contemporary superhero landscape of the Dispatch universe, Titus is a walking war crime-a seven-foot-tall genetically forged god of war who knows only duty and slaughter. Assigned to the Phoenix Program for "rehabilitation," he is paired with the one person who isn't intimidated by his ceramite-clad shadow: Courtney, known to the public as Invisigal. She is a snarky, self-loathing ex-villain who hides behind perfect invisibility and sharp quips. He is an Ultramarine whose soul is as armored as his body. As the two are forced into an uneasy partnership, Courtney begins to see the broken man beneath the Mk X Tacticus armor, while Titus realizes that even in a "decadent" world, there are souls worth saving. But the Warp does not let go easily. As echoes of the Thousand Sons begin to bleed into this new reality, the soldier and the invisible woman must forge a bond that transcends their universes. In a slow-burn collision of duty and desire, Titus must decide if he is still the Emperor's weapon, or if he can finally become something he never thought possible: human.

It is the 41st Millennium. For more than a hundred centuries The Emperor has sat immobile on the Golden Throne of Earth. He is the Master of Mankind by the will of the gods, and master of a million worlds by the might of his inexhaustible armies. He is a rotting carcass writhing invisibly with power from the Dark Age of Technology. He is the Carrion Lord of the Imperium for whom a thousand souls are sacrificed every day, so that he may never truly die. Yet even in his deathless state, the Emperor continues his eternal vigilance. Mighty battlefleets cross the daemon-infested miasma of the Warp, the only route between distant stars, their way lit by the Astronomican, the psychic manifestation of the Emperor's will. Vast armies give battle in his name on uncounted worlds. Greatest amongst his soldiers are the Adeptus Astartes, the Space Marines, bio-engineered super-warriors. Their comrades in arms are legion: the Imperial Guard and countless planetary defence forces, the ever vigilant Inquisition and the tech-priests of the Adeptus Mechanicus to name only a few. But for all their multitudes, they are barely enough to hold off the ever-present threat from aliens, heretics, mutants - and worse. To be a man in such times is to be one amongst untold billions. It is to live in the cruelest and most bloody regime imaginable. These are the tales of those times. Forget the power of technology and science, for so much has been forgotten, never to be re-learned. Forget the promise of progress and understanding, for in the grim dark future there is only war. There is no peace amongst the stars, only an eternity of carnage and slaughter, and the laughter of thirsting gods. In unknown world, where the legionnaire astartes battle off against the enemies of mankind, as an astartes fought to the end as the mankind were besieged by the enemies of mankind. Until he was transported to the battlefield to the unknown world, will he survive or will he die like his brothers.

"The scars upon my armor are not merely wounds from battle, but brands of shame. Once, we were the Luna Wolves, the embodiment of the Emperor's righteous fury, our names whispered with reverence across the galaxy. Now? We are but shadows of our former selves, our honor traded for the poisoned chalice of betrayal. The Primarch, whom we swore oaths to, the Legion, which we bled for...they have cast us into the abyss, transforming our legacy from valiant warriors into savage barbarians. The echoes of our glorious past mock us with each brutal act, each step we take further from the light of the Imperium. This shame...this is a wound that may never heal."

A phrase always followed by 'To serve the Emperor's will'. Yet for these marines, the statement changes. Meet the 21st Legion of the Legiones Astartes. Created during the time leading up to the betrayal of Primarch Horus and his heretical crusade. While the Human Webway was a project he focused on, there was one kept secret from the entire Imperium: creation of another legion. The Primarch of which, was never woken. These men are the Regius Cohortis. In tribute to a language long unused by the Imperium. Latin for Royal Guard. This is their story.

Stories about some scenarios in the 40k universe. Might upload the rest, might not. I write a little of everything here albeit not consistently but there's variety. Not a silly cross over at any point in time. Any art seen here does not belong to me and all credit goes to the rightful artist. I reserve the right to my OCs. Of course I don't own Warhammer 40,000.
