Tavi was raised a dragon hunter. Her childhood was survival, traps, and learning how to kill dragons before they killed you. So when a massive Boneknapper decides she's his human and refuses to leave her alone, Tavi assumes something has gone terribly wrong. Then things get worse. Now she lives on Dragon's Edge with Hiccup and Astrid, a Boneknapper named Rattle who thinks she's worth protecting, a frog army that follows her around, and an egg she has absolutely no idea how to raise. Between hunters, dragon battles, accidental frog attacks, and feelings she definitely didn't sign up for, Tavi is slowly learning something she never expected: Maybe family isn't something you're born into. Maybe it's something that finds you. Even if it arrives with bones, dragons, and frogs.

Y/n has always been Hiccup's best friend. She has also always calmed the dragons around her, yet no one knows why (yet). She is the "sister" of Astrid Hofferson, and she was found at a young age by Alin. However, when Hiccup shoots down a night fury finding another at its side a secret is revealed about y/n. This series covers the entirety of the first movie and introduces "Dragons Riders of Berk." I also decided to give Astrid's parents names, they are Ferguson (dad) and Alin (mom) her name is pronounced Ah-lyn. Anyway! It was a new year at Disney&Dreamworks College and every student was excited to return to school. All except for one person, Hayden Haddock. You see, he wasn't the 'liked' student in school. He was constantly bullied and looked down by almost all of the students in school, all except for his two older sisters, Astrid Haddock and Heather Haddock. His only friend was his pet cat, Toothless. However it gets worst, since at home his father, Stoick Haddock was cruel and rude towards him since he blamed him for his mother's disappearance since Hayden was two years old. Unlike his sisters, Stoick treated them like his princesses and gave them all of his love. He acted nice in front of the girls but immediately changed back to cruel when they were gone. Just as Hayden was losing hope and was thinking about leaving his hometown, Berk. One day, a new girl arrived at the school and Hayden had found himself head over heels for her. Her name was Elsa Winters and the school's most prettiest and kindest girl in the school. When Hayden bumped into her one day, he had no idea his world was going to change upside down. Hiccup Haddock III was sick and tired of his life. He was tired of getting pitied glances everywhere he went. He was sick of overhearing conversations about how ashamed his father must feel of him. But all that changed when he was given the privilege to kill a Monstrous Nightmare. He couldn't kill it, though. He wouldn't. He couldn't betray his only friend. The one being that didn't judge him. So he ran away. Ran away from his family and his home. Everyone thought he was dead, but when a mysterious dragon rider comes back to Berk with news, the visit doesn't go very well. The Berkians are Vikings; it's in their nature to be stubborn and they don't take too kindly to strange masked visitors that ride Night Furies. It's been 2 months since Stoick the Vast left Midgard and went to Valhalla, leaving his son, Hiccup Haddock, to take his place as Chief of Berk. Hiccup is now in charge of running the entire village at only 20 years old, and, although he hides it well, is struggling with the death of his father, and the sudden responsibility thrust upon him as Chief. But when he meets a strange girl with a mysterious past, things get much more complicated than Hiccup would like. A new girl. A new enemy. A new type of evil. How will Hiccup face this enemy? How will he keep the village his father gave him to protect safe? And how does he find hope in a time of darkness and peril? When a woman buys a book from her favorite series, she wasn't expecting two muscular men, a badass woman, and hundreds of dragons now invading her country and becoming a major invasive species to also be dropped off at her doorstep! Then again, she bought the book off a dark web, creepy website. Now, if she wants to fix this, she has to travel the whole country to fill the book and try to do so without dying from some of the most deadly dragons in the world! No biggie... Right? And yes, the book title is very misleading.

Is banished from Berk after revealing his draconic companion and disowned by Stoick. Two years have passed and suddenly the village of Berk and people from the future are all tossed into a cave and are forced to watch the past of Hiccup before he was banished, the future Hiccup and alternate versions of Hiccup across the multiverse. She has a family, friends, and a mountain of school work that she will never get through on time. But her entire universe is flipped upside down when she wakes up in a place and a time that isn't her own, and she is faced with a new challenge. Find a way home. She doesn't know how or why she ended up in the land of Berk, which up until now was simply a fictional island that she saw on her TV screen. But she soon realizes that navigating her way through this new reality was going to be more difficult than she thought. Meeting the people of Berk (and maybe even falling for one of them), changed Y/n, and she has to get used to living like one of them if she wishes to keep her secret from them. That task becomes harder with each day that passes, and she quickly starts to crack under the pressure of questions she can't answer, needing to tell someone of her troubles before she goes insane. Luckily for her, there's one boy in this village who is desperate enough for female attention that he would listen to just about anything she said, even if he didn't understand it all. In an everlasting desire to go back home, Y/n pushes her way through the story, hoping to stay alive until the end, so that maybe she may return to her own world. She did have one advantage though. She's seen this movie before.

ITS HICCSTRID!! This has been written over the course of about 4 years, so if you don't want to put up with the cringe writing feel free to skip to 'wait! She's your...' because that's when the writing starts to go uphill :) Most are based during/after rtte and httyd 2. A couple set either earlier or later. Only one modern.
