With normal weapons from bullets to nuclear weapons not affecting them, a company known as Smart Brain takes it upon themselves to create the weapon to defeat the Angels. This is a modern-ish Evangelion fan fic. I can't promise I'll update this a lot, since I'm just writing this for fun. Plot will follow the original anime, but with no mechas or Evas. Since this is just for fun, I don't really have a plot, but instead it's a more casual/emotional story. This fic will have a lot of kaworu x shinji, and interactions with the main cast. Unlike the anime, this will focus more on school (I'm making it so that they're in high-school because, I'm not sure how American school systems work). Of course, he's wrong though, because what did Shinji expect. When he moves in with his new guardian, Misato, and she asks him to vent by writing in a diary; Shinji does just that. While also going to test his dad's new VR console invention, with another strange girl.
