He cares deeply for her and it shows, after Rin and Obioto's death he pushed her away but they were brought back together because of an tragic event. Entry 1: My name is Atrayou Luanara. I am a shinobi from the village hidden beneath the moon in the land of souls. My village was small, not near the size of the hidden leaf village, but it was respected. We lived happily and silently in a clearing surrounded by the moons beam at night and by grassland during the day. My mother was the Lunakage, the leader of the village. She led her people bravely and wisely. My father, whom I've never met left before I was born. Mother said he is a Konoha ninja and that he always writes to her saying he'll come for her once he's retired from being a shinobi. But that hasn't happened and I doubt it ever will. I write this in my diary so I never forget who I am, or where I come from. Because tonight will be the last night the hidden moon village exists.
