A young man divorced his wife after he found out she was cheating on him. His father finds him a new job in his old hometown where he ultimately has to move back into his old house. He soon finds out that he shouldn't have started a new job right away because it is nothing compared to his previous job.

Bilba is a hunter sent to take care of something killing off patients in an asylum. While there she meets Fili Durin, an patient accused of murdering his father. He insists he's innocent which, even if it's true, doesn't really matter. There's nothing Bilba can do to help him. She's there for one reason and one reason only and it's not him. Even if he is prettier than anyone has a right to be.
