But going undercover as a new recruit for American Teens Against Crime is no easy feat, and getting info turns out to be a challenge. Worse yet, after a near-fatal explosion, the girl detective finds her life on the line. Will she be able to see the invisible strings pulling her hand in time, or will the puppet master have the last laugh?

I recommend reading the first book, "OCTale: Pacifist", so you have a better understanding of what's going on, as well as "The Tale of the Two Siblings: An OCTale Story" to understand some of the later events of this book.
