The world ended years ago, the new generations don't remember a world when the dead didn't kill the living. This is a story about a group of boys that have the opportunity to be in the free world, a safe haven away from the dead and the infected. But that won't be so easy as they have to find a way out of the Michelangelo, one of the city's protected by a big metal wall.

Jung Wooyoung and the Amazing, Wonderful, Not Bad, Very Good Archeology Field Trip: Wooyoung and Changbin are best friends, and also vampires who have been alive for some time. Everything is fine, except Changbin has been in love with one of his friends for centuries without doing anything about it - and when a chance presents itself to Wooyoung, he takes it. Or: Wooyoung has the braincells (...). Changbin is embarrassed by his ancient poetry. Hyunjin just wanted to go to an art gallery. IU is there, and she's awesome. Or: Ateez and Stray Kids are besties and also vampires.

"Some days are so bad I want to curl up and die. In fact, some days are so bad I wish I'd never been born." Felix has been struggling with overwhelming grief for the past three months. But when his best friend comes to check on him, things suddenly start to look up. Taking Jisung's advice to get out of the house, Felix is drawn back to the local dog café, where he and his mum spent many happy hours together. Little does he know that his trip to the café will change his life forever. Wooyoung is perfectly happy working at the dog café -- or so he thinks. One day, a boy with a sad smile walks through the door and bursts into tears. Wooyoung's heart breaks at the sight, so -- with the help of his canine friend, Pepi -- he sets out to comfort the stranger. As he gets closer to Felix, though, his own insecurities threaten to sabotage their happiness. It's a bumpy road for Felix and Wooyoung, but will it all be worth it in the end? Wooyoung interlaced their fingers and squeezed. He stared into Felix's eyes with a look that was both intense and soft at the same time. "You okay?" The younger's stomach did a flip, and his heart seemed to be beating out of his chest. He looked down at their interlaced hands for a long moment, then back up into Wooyoung's eyes as he slowly smiled. "Yeah," he breathed into the stillness between them. "Cool." Wooyoung grinned and suddenly pivoted, starting off down the footpath again. "We need to get to the dorm, or there won't be time for video games before bed!" Felix let himself be towed along, his hand still clasped in Wooyoung's. There were currently a thousand butterflies in his stomach, doing the kind of choreography he could only dream of, and a tingling sensation was slowly spreading throughout his body.
