Athelstan has so many questions, but never feels like he can ask them. He and Ragnar talk one night and Athelstan gets some answers. Set during episode 5.

Lynet was of Wessex. She was born on the soil, raised from the ground up to be a lady of Winchester. Taken by Odda and raised under Alfred, the truth was hidden from Lynet. Until the night Lynet overhears the secrets kept from her. Betrayed and wanting to reunite with her father, Lynet leaves Wessex to find Uhtred. When she finds him though, it is not quite what she expects. (Begins in s2)
