Re-occurring themes in the series are Betrayal, Loneliness, Prejudice, Freedom, Fear, and Self Sacrifice. I am trying to stray from Star Trek and Star Wars when writing it. I want it to feel as if it's real life, only in the future. Although it has some fantasy elements, it's more of a realistic and deep story. My main influence in writing this is J.R.R Tolkien's Lord of the Rings. I was inspired by his depth and descriptions of characters and places, the entire world created simply from his imagination. I hope to create powerful characters and places that you can easily visualize while reading.
