Evan Buckley only wanted to make his sister a birthday. His parents had completely abandoned them on Maddie's birthday which led to a huge fire. When the 130 (a firehouse) and young firefighter Bobby Nash saves the two which led to him and his wife Athena Carter-Nash to foster them. Now young Evan and Maddie Buckley must try to move on with a new family until their parents return.

Emily Jackson a girl who grew up in foster care without family for her entire life, but her life is thrown upside down at the age of 17 when her house burns down and her life is saved by Fire Captain Bobby Nash.
