An OC x Zuko (ATLA) fanfic. Laina Xu (A name she uses to conceal her true identity) is a spy working for the Dai Li, tasked with tracking and reporting Fire Nation ships. A rare occurrence where two twins in the womb possess different bending elements. One twin at an early time absorbs the other and gains that element. Laina happened to be that twin. Dual bending being illegal and punishable by death in both the Earth Kingdom and the Fire Nation, Laina must conceal it from everyone. What happens when she is met with the most challenging decision of her life? Choose to stay with Prince Zuko, continue to work for the Dai Li, or join the Avatar in an attempt to right her wrongs?
