Captain Lux Aldrik has loved flying for as long as she can remember. As a young girl from Corellia, her only dream was to get off the planet, so when the opportunity came in the form of joining the Grand Army of the Republic, she took it as fast as she could. Lux was one hell of a pilot, and worked her way up the ranks quickly, soon coming to captain her very own cruiser, the Aquila. Obi-Wan Kenobi isn't looking for an army, much less someone to captain it. He doesn't want a fleet to command, but war comes with that kind of thing, and being promoted to General wasn't really in his plan, either. He doesn't like the fighting, but if they ever want peace, the Jedi Order will need to do this. Finding new allies isn't so bad once he meets Captain Aldrik, who makes his day just a little bit brighter. Anakin loses his mother and Padmé tries to both be there for him and come to terms with her chaotic feelings. A/N: People complain a lot about Padmé's reaction to Anakin confessing to murdering the Tusken Raiders, as well as the romance as a whole. I decided to write this scene out from her point of view, hopefully adding some depth to it - depth that I saw in the movie. The title is a reference to a poem out of Mary Oliver's "Thirst".

A Star Wars fanfic story, that has some Star Wars canon material, but is mostly my own Star Wars head canon

Tomorrow is May the 4th. (A.K.A. Star Wars Day.) It's a day where I watch all the Stars Wars movies. But this year, on May 3rd, I watched all the major deaths that have occurred in the movies, in the order of each movie's original theatrical release. (That's also the order I'll the watching the whole movies in tomorrow. Yes, I do in fact prefer to watch them in original release order. And I mean no offense to people who watch them in episodic, numerical order.) But the way I'll be presenting the deaths is from how I see them in order of least depressing to most depressing. Now, keep in mind these are all just my personal opinions. Feel free to agree or disagree if you like, but don't be mean about it. BTW, I'm only including deaths that have happened in the seven feature films. No books, video games, Clone Wars or Rebels. I have nothing against all those things, but I feel it'll be easiest for me if I only do movie deaths. Speaking of Clone Wars and Rebels, Darth Maul's death from The Phantom Menace isn't on here, seeing as he came back in Clone Wars and Rebels. Neither will the death of Zam Wessel, the female bounty hunter from Attack of the Clones. This is because my DVD of AOTC always skips at that part, and her death never really had that much of an effect on me. However I will be including Boba Fett's death in Return of the Jedi. I know about the debates concerning this, but I, personally, have yet to be convinced that he actually survived the Sarlacc. All other deaths, though, are fair game. MAJOR SPOILERS! (And not just for The Force Awakens, but all the movies.)

With the Jedi unable to get their hands on Anakins younger and in their eyes, easier to train younger sister, she is raised on Naboo by her mother with help from many in the palace. The force protect both of its children and the woman who carried them. I'm this universe many things change, and the fate of the Skywalkers was forever change by one quick decision made by Queen Amidala (with a little help from the force). This is a real story but if I'm being honest their are some total crack moments along with slight Jedi bashing from Aria, Revan, the force, and the Naboo. Enjoy!
