But when she realizes that that dream isn't as easy as she thought, she changes direction. Now she's been hired as the instrument tech on a massive world tour for three of her favorite bands: Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, and twenty one pilots. Working so close to the other crew will forms some fast, strong bonds between them. It also leads to some friendships with people she never thought she would get to know. But her friendship between Brendon seems to grow into something further. But does she want to pursue something or is she just looking for friendship?
"Most likely to become famous
There's my picture in the yearbook, holding a microphone in one hand in front of my mouth and holding the stand with the other back, making me lean forward in a dramatic, still shot of a dynamic singing position. I'm smiling open-mouthed, frozen in fake song. The boy standing next to me with his drumsticks is now a truck driver. I'm not sure I'm much better. In high school, being voted 'Most Likely to Become Famous' sounds like a prophecy being told. Like there's no way that it could not happen. But getting out in the great wide world has a way of slapping you right in the face with cold hard reality. Girls from Boulder, Colorado with dime-a-dozen voices and hot tempers don't usually make it out in the harsh recording world. So instead of sitting in my bitter defeat, I reevaluated my situation. If I couldn't be in front of the crowd, maybe I could still be behind the music that came out. Four years later, I walked across a stage with a technical music degree from the University of Denver. Maybe not the most likely to become famous but most likely to try."
