After the death of her parents, seventeen-year-old Elara inherits an old mansion soaked in ivy and silence. But the house is not empty. In the attic, behind a hidden wall, she finds a porcelain doll with lips sewn shut and eyes far too human. When the thread unravels, so does everything Elara thought she knew about her family, her past-and herself. As the doll begins to whisper, Elara is drawn into a century-old curse, a ghost boy trapped in mirrors, and a ritual that demands blood and memory. The deeper she digs, the clearer the truth becomes: Some things were never meant to be found. Some voices should never be heard. And love-when twisted by grief-can become the most terrifying force of all. The doll wants out. But Elara may be the only one who can stop what's coming... or become it.

Matt Wilson isn't thrilled about moving to a new town with his new family. While his stepfather and stepsister are friendly enough, he's constantly reminded they're not his real family. The rumors he hears about the town don't help, either. The rumors about strange things happening, people going missing, and even the house he moves into being previously inhabited by the founders of the town. Then he finds a secret staircase in his room that leads to the dark, abandoned attic. He can't seem to find the window, which blocks out all the light, but when he realizes what's inside, he realizes that at least a few of the rumors were right.

In this book, a young girl Carolyn, who is indeed a ghost, is going to have the boys of BVB move into her house. They think she's a living person and since she doesn't want to ruin the relationship they will already have starting, she doesn't bother telling them that she is actually dead. But what happens when Andy falls for her? Will things work out? Will she be able to become human again? Or will she have to tell him the truth and move on. Will she cross over or find a way to be human? All the answers to your questions can be found in Unbeloved.

"I'm now ready to end everything here." She's an epitome of an all-in-one, perfect lady. An obedient daughter at home. A model student in school. Talented, smart and with a kind heart, too. That's how everyone viewed her--- almost Miss Perfect. But oblivious to them, her peculiar personality is her great problem, pushing her to stop and seek for her so called "death". Will she still chase for eternal darkness once she learns that the one haunting her past, entangling her present, and securing her future--- is just one meticulous crazy creature. Or will she let the rancorous feelings dwelling within her get the better of her? --- Photo in the cover is not mine. Credits to the rightful owner.

Nothing in life is perfect, you're right, I should know that by now. But when I look around at my family, at my (few) friends, at the aesthetic scenes that nature and books keep managing to provide me... I almost manage to forget the fact. It shouldn't be hard to smile, should it? Hard to talk, hard to breathe, hard to be happy? I'm not an alien, and science can prove it (I think). And so as a very human person, I don't think that it was quite fair that all that had to happen on my fourteenth birthday. My supposed fourteenth day of happiness in life. But that's not what Mother says, Mother says that it's karma. And so when I turn to ask her, do I deserve this? Am I a bad person? "No, Clara. You're just as great as I am." But Mother has low self-esteem, that isn't very reassuring- A detective walks out of the closet. There's always something watching you now. Go on, have fun, I dare you. It'll be a new experience. Hopefully, you'll be quite changed by the end of it. I'll give you fireworks, I'll give you food, I'll give you friends. Just don't look back.

-Gorgeous cover made by @Bloody--mascara Thank you, :) -- In the far reaches of an old country road, a little red house stands alone amongst fields of grass and wild flowers. This little house with its flaking red paint and old wooden porch make a picturesque backdrop for the two sisters, Hannah and Hailey Smith . The Smith sisters lived by themselves in the little red house, and surrounding fields, just as they always have. But one day, things change when a baby blue Jeep Cherokee pulls up their long, dusty drive. Who is the driver of the car? That name would belong to Jenna Martin, a city girl in most respects and married three times. She is the girls' cousin and complete opposite. She brings a surprise with her, one which would lead to turning the Smith girls' world upside down.

I didn't dare glance behind to see if the were following. I run into the house thinking about what amount of time I had left before they find out where I am hiding. I run up the creaking steps to the attic and find a small gift box to hide the locket in. Gluing it tight with carpenters glue I quickly hide it under a loose floorboard. Behind me the floor boards squeak and a deep chuckle fills the attic. As a black mist envelopes me all I can think is 'protect it'.
