Y/N L/N is Atticus' wife's best friend. She moves into Maycomb and there she meets Atticus for the first time and his children. She meets also others. Y/N is an author and she also has a secret: she's a powerful lawyer that protects people, especially the black ones. She may look innocent but it doesn't mean that she's weak. She befriends Atticus and helps him with everything when he needs it while protecting people when they're in trouble. Atticus falls in love with her and she in him. But trouble arrives and it needs to be stopped. Will Atticus and Y/N be together or will they both drift away from each other?

*TRIGGER WARNINGS! MENTIONS OF RAPE AND ASSAULT* Mrs. Finch is on a business trip, her husband taking care of their two children, Jean Louise and Jeremy. Then, when she arrives to Maycomb, she has a whole new trial waiting for Atticus. (Set after the trial of Tom Robinson, Bob Ewell was sentenced to life in prison and Tom was fine with his family)

I made a bet with Rubix456 that I would upload this if I got an A on it. And I did. So here it is. Starting from Chapter 28, I had to write an alternate ending for To Kill A Mockingbird by Harper Lee. We were reading the book in class and our teacher made us do a project on it. I didn't want to speak in front of the class so I chose this option(I had to speak anyway to explain my project so that didn't work). Sorry if it's terrible. I had a word limit of 800 (which I exceeded) so I didn't write as much as I had planned. This is my first attempt at actually writing a story so it will be awful.
