One of my special interests is turtles and a friend of mine asked why it is that a turtle's gender is determined by the weather. I, surprisingly, didn't know the answer and went into a research dive to find out. Ended up writing an essay about it and since I find this absolutely fascinating I've decided to share it with y'all.
