For most of my life, the thought of what music to play at my funeral never occurred to me.

Jokes, memes, and relatable things that certain people understand. Maybe you will too. This book mainly focuses on grunge music but there's other stuff as well.

An imagining of how David, Paul, Dwayne, and Marko got together, became vampires, and formed the Lost Boys. Each chapter is set to the lyrics of a song from the self-titled debut album by the band Audioslave. I would recommend listening to the audio track while reading the chapter, to feel what is conveyed by the specific lyrics woven into the story. Originally published between 2003 and 2004, I got as far as using eight of the fourteen songs before the project was abandoned. As one of my lesser known works based on "The Lost Boys", I ignored it until the sudden and unexpected passing of singer Chris Cornell in May 2017. Dusting it off and giving it a polish, here it is, with minor editorial changes. I now consider it a completed work. [Writer's Note: Any characters, settings, events, etc. created for and found in the movie "The Lost Boys" belong to Warner Bros and the respective creators/writers.
