An imagining of how David, Paul, Dwayne, and Marko got together, became vampires, and formed the Lost Boys. Each chapter is set to the lyrics of a song from the self-titled debut album by the band Audioslave. I would recommend listening to the audio track while reading the chapter, to feel what is conveyed by the specific lyrics woven into the story. Originally published between 2003 and 2004, I got as far as using eight of the fourteen songs before the project was abandoned. As one of my lesser known works based on "The Lost Boys", I ignored it until the sudden and unexpected passing of singer Chris Cornell in May 2017. Dusting it off and giving it a polish, here it is, with minor editorial changes. I now consider it a completed work. [Writer's Note: Any characters, settings, events, etc. created for and found in the movie "The Lost Boys" belong to Warner Bros and the respective creators/writers. Will this be finally forever? *This story takes place in the year 2003 and loosely follows VK and Chris' love story but rather than VK, this will be based on a female character I've created.*
