my mind is like a puzzle but there's a missing piece

I've always wanted to try poetry...

When you're drowning in an ocean, what do you do ? You flap your arms around, kick your legs and resurface while your breath shortens. Let's say by some miracle there's a log right there and you cling to it. Well, that log for me was the consistent ink on my paper getting botched by tears. So let's go under darkness shan't we? This is my entry to the Wattpad Poetry August Has Flair competition. Votes, Reads, and most of all Feedback are welcome and recommended.

My online journal - about anything, or maybe everything. I want to start writing about anything. I just want to start. So here it is. Just my random thought - be it in the middle of the night when i can not sleep because of iced mocha i had earlier that day, or just me fighting with my own mind of what i should say but instead i just keep it to myself and then i decided to write it here. Sometimes it will be short story - the one I played in my mind. It can also be about me reflecting about what happened to me - because the great moments won't necessarily be the things you do. They'll also be the things that happen to you. That's correct! I am quoting HIMYM. I AM A FAN! I also loveeee FRIENDS! So I guess there will be more quotes from HIMYM and Friends as I am trying to write about things, and maybe some from Gossip Girl and other tv series that I have watched. ***** Also included my participation in any contest. ☺️ ***** More than 500 words each chapter and hopefully I can do it twice a week - Wednesday and Sunday. ***** Each chapter is not related to each other - unless stated in the chapters title.
