Hi there! My name is Kafka, and this is my fanfiction set in the Harry Potter universe. It's a tribute to Remus Lupin, Nymphadora Tonks, and all those characters who-despite only a few pages-managed to steal our hearts. This story was born from the books that have been with me since I was a child, and also from everything I sensed between the lines that never quite got told. At first, I meant to write a romantic tale... But it ended up involving broken families, werewolves, Aurors, lies, and a little bit of everything. My plan is to publish chapters progressively. The story begins right after Book 4 - The Goblet of Fire. I'll do my best to post in both Spanish and English, though my native language is Spanish, so bear with me. I also draw, so you'll find illustrations made by me along the way as I upload each chapter. I've tried to stay faithful to canon, enrich it with care, and give shape to what I felt while reading the original books. Fred and George Weasley are searching for a safe-house somewhere far outside London when they see Ellinore, a new member of the Order of the Phoenix. She gives them the location of a safe hideout, but something doesn't go as planned and suddenly their way is blocked by ministry police, and aurors, ready to catch them. This is the story of Ellinore Rees' life, during the second wizarding war, when she joined the Order of the Phoenix while Harry, Hermione and Ron were hunting down the Horcruxes. We follow Fred, George and Ellinore as they escape aurors and flee through the country, while the three get to know eachother. Is there space for the brothers to let in a third person in their group? And especially this new girl who showed up from nowhere? Can they fully trust her?

Silver Dumbledore is the much younger cousin of Albus Dumbledore. She is 22 years old and now she has lived in America ever since the death of her beloved aunt Kendra, and the late death of her beloved cousin Ariana. Although she lives in America, her heart beats for a British life. She's been in love with Newt Scamander since she set foot in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry when she turned 11. She was sorted into Gryffindor, and along with him, was equally as in love with the creatures as he was. But when she turned 17, and was made Head Girl, her life broke apart. Newt was expelled, and cast out, leaving her alone in the Hogwarts that she didn't know anymore. She found healing with her much older cousin Albus, who taught her control and defense, as her pain slowly faded and turned to determination. After she graduated, she joined the Ministry of Magic in the Auror department and she excelled. By the time she was 19, she was Assigned to many extreme assignments that the head of the Department of Aurors had never given to anyone else, and that indeed, no one else wanted. Then she was transferred to the American Ministry in New York, where, she soon rose to becoming the Youngest Head of the Aurors and Obliviators Department, that had ever been seen in NYC at the time. She is now 22 and is shocked to see her old friend Newt Scamander, coming off a boat to New York. Silver feels the feelings, but she pushes them back, knowing that work has to come first, no matter who walks back into her life now. She has to fight for New York, her city, her home, whether she has to fight against her old friends, or with them, to defend it.

Taking place a year after Harry defeated Voldemort a new threat rises in a time that supposed to be peaceful after all the sacrifices he and many of friends made. After a new law is passed to apprehend and detain all Death Eaters and other loyalists of the Dark Lord, there have been many attacks on the Ministry orchestrated by someone out for revenge against the Chosen One. Now Harry and his friends must hunt down and put a stop to this madness before it's too late.

As her marriage takes unexpected turns, who better to comfort her than her co-worker, the ever-struggling Draco Malfoy?
