Does true love deserve a second chance? The summer before university, Emily met and fell in love with Finn. It was a love to stand the test of time. Until Finn disappeared without so much as a goodbye. Eight years later, a twist of fate brings Finn back into Emily's life. Can she finally get answers to the questions that have kept her from moving on? Or does true love deserve a second chance? A reimagination of Jane Austen's Persuasion. ⭐Reviews⭐ "Let me tell you something... I never ever read a sex scene as beautiful as this one! Like ever! It was something so simple, so pure, so lovely! " "Amazing! ✨ The story is flowing very well! The way you tell his POV is so beautiful ."

This story was started as a reaction to the maltreatment of Dr Frankenstein's creation in the Penny Dreadful series, at his very birth, by his own father. I wished to be there, to set things right, but of course that would be silly, I'm a forty-five year old married woman, with three teenage children. So I invented a young indomitable spirit to do the job for me, and re-wrote that whole heart-rending scene. And then another scene, and another one, and before I knew it the characters started to lead their own lives, making their own decisions. The action loosely follows the series, but of course different choices result in curious plot-twists. I like to call this story the 'ladies' version' because my style is heavily influenced by English romantic literature. Also, making love is part of life, but to a woman suggestion is often stronger than description. I hope that you will let me know how you liked the story, and as I am not a native speaker, I appreciate comments on my use of the English language very much. Skip the prologue to go straight to the action if you're an impatient reader!

ONESHOT.Mary Bennet simply did not understand how she, the one often thought of as 'the plain Bennet sister' had received not one, but two marriage proposals. It seemed like a blessing and a curse mixed together...

Hey guys 🥰, Here are my views and thoughts on the theme of finding one's self/ self-knowledge in Jane Austen's 19th century novel 'Pride and Prejudice'. I am writing about this purely because I love this book and felt the need to explore this theme within it. All of what I have written is said by me, otherwise if it's not I shall quote who has e.g. any critics. I haven't done a tonne of research for what I have written, this is just me whipping out my tablet and writing because I feel like it. I have not studied this text like I would at A-level, I just read and really enjoyed it. Feel free to comment, vote and follow to help a gal out 🤗 I may come back to edit/ add more when I feel like it once it's already been published. If there are any spelling mistakes, I do apologise, I'm not the best at noticing them x Also (if you're interested) please check out my story I have been writing on wattpad this year! Gracias 💕 Anyways, thank you for reading my thoughts and views🙃 xx

Elizabeth Bennet has received word that her beloved sister is sick with a cold at Netherfield Park, and set out to comfort and aid her recovery. Between battling Miss Bingley and sparring with Mr Darcy, it soon becomes apparent that it is no trifling cold that Jane is battling, and Elizabeth is obliged to stay longer. With this departure from canon, will Miss Elizabeth Bennet and Mr Darcy come to an understanding sooner? Or will outside forces conspire to keep them apart?

Dear Jane is an epistolary novel inspired by Jane Austen's novel and her biographical events. I imagine that Cassandra, her sister, writes to the women who had inspired the protagonists of Jane's novels, asking them to write to Jane to comfort and distract her in a difficult moment, due to the illness that will lead her to death. Therefore, it begins between Jane, Elizabeth Darcy, Marianne Brandon, Maria Bertram, Catherine Tilney, Ann Wentworth and Emma Knightly an epistolary correspondence that reveals aspects of Jane's life and tells us what happens to Austen's characters after the end of her novels. Since I am also an opera singer, you can expect some tragedies and many "coup de théâtre"!

In a generation where feminist movements are so important, Anna finds herself in war between finding love and the journey of being an independent woman; the kind of woman that does not need some sort of dependency over a man. She has a strong belief that she does not need any man, but as she meets along this man, every aspect of her independency was put on a pedestal, and she finds herself on a tightrope that makes her life incredibly so interesting than before. Will she chase the man? Or will she continue being an independent woman? Is the chase really to choose between the two? Or to find balance in between? Can an independent woman be so capable of diminishing her walls for the one?

Chrysanthemum Morris. Not exactly the best name for a nineteenth century rich man's daughter. Which is exactly what she is not. Yet. The story begins when Chrysanthemum (Chrissy) discovers that her favorite building in the world has burned down and with it, her favorite belongings. When she finds her vintage copy of the classic Jane Austen tale, Pride and Prejudice, in shreds, she also finds something that will change her life forever. This leads to that, blah blah blah, long story short she ends up becoming a character in her favorite book. But even though the pride has diminished, do the prejudices still remain? And though Chrissy may be able to fit in if she tries, is she willing to go to the extent of changing her appearance, her speech, and even her name? What makes life all the more complicated, is that she may have fallen in love, and the couple is one that society would never approve of. She has many choices to make and not all of them are easy. Welcome to nineteenth century England, Chrissy. Enjoy the ride

Emma + Elsie started from a basic premise—what if two of my favorite Jane Austen characters, Emma Woodhouse and Elizabeth Bennet, were best friends in modern times? It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a women in possession of a good piece of gossip, must be in want of her best friend. Heartwarming, feminine, and laugh-out-loud funny, Emma + Elsie is a story about a surprising friendship between two girls as they celebrate the end of their teen years and promise never to grow apart. For fans of Jane Austen, Emma + Elsie is a serialized, modern mashup and retelling of Pride and Prejudice and Emma. The serial starts with an introduction to Emma Woodhouse and Elsie Bennet, plus an entire cast of players, including Mr. Woodhouse, Mr. and Mrs. Bennet, Jane, Kitty, Lydia, and Mary Bennet, Jace Knightley, Chuck and Caroline Bingley, Mr. and Mrs. Hurst, Mrs. Goddard, Harriet Smith, Annabeth Taylor, Mr. Weston, Lacey Bates, and more. Emma and Elsie live in the sleepy Louisiana town of Rosebelle, located just 30 minutes south of the River Road. They have just graduated from high school and are enjoying their summer before freshman year at Louisiana State University when they meet Fitzwilliam Darcy, who throws them both completely for a loop. In between weddings, graduation parties, and The Belle of Roses summer event, they deal with the Bingley party hanging around town and the oddities surrounding the family—particularly the mystery of Fitz Darcy.
