Sarah Jennings grew up surrounded by hockey. Her brothers had played hockey since before she could walk. Even though she wasn't athletic she still wanted to be a part of the sport so how. She was just twelve years old when she was helping her parents manage and coach her older brother's midget major AAA team. She was always on the bench and showed promise from a young age so she aimed high she wanted to coach in the NHL when she grew up.
