"Underground: Second Poetry Collection" (2021-2024): Book 2 among my poetry collections. If you read my poetry collections from oldest to newest, you'll get to see the evolution and changes my style undergoes over time. However, there is no required reading order. Poetry is meant to be enjoyed, read how and what you wish. 😌 Formerly titled "Dreaming", this is my second poetry collection. It contains most of the poems I wrote between the years of 2021 and 2024. Those years were filled with much emotional turmoil, blockage, and life changes, so while I did not write for a central theme, I have chosen the title "Underground" because I think it's a very fitting description of my life at the time. Welcome!

"Impostors Society" is a modern free verse poem that explores themes of identity, societal expectations, and political manipulation. Jemar's, identifying as a poet yet wielding a metaphorical gun, reflects on the conflicts inherent in their existence, juxtaposing creativity with aggression. Through vivid imagery, the poem critiques societal norms that foster superficiality and conformity, while also questioning the integrity of those in power, particularly within the political landscape of the Philippines. The poem invites readers to critically evaluate manipulation and the intentions behind actions, urging a deeper understanding of authenticity in a world rife with impostors.
