|| They say that the best things in life come unexpectedly || Scarlet Rae Thrilwall is a twenty-two-year-old girl who is studying at the Pritzker School of Medicine -University of Chicago- aiming to be a surgeon in the future. She lives with her only family -her mother Abigail, who surprisingly isn't really fond of her. Although it's not perfect, Scarlet's life is stable until one day her mother gives her shocking news and, after that, Scarlet discovers that her life will never be the same.
