In this A/U story, Spencer Walter Reid is Spencer McKenna-Llewellyn Taylor, son of McKenna "Mac" Llewellyn Taylor and Claire Conrad from New York, where Mac works as a CSI after being part of the United States Marine Corps and an NYPD officer. Claire was killed in the 9/11 World Trade Center Terrorist Attacks. Spencer's extended family is the CSI: NY team and the Miami-Dade CSI team.
