Why I Wrote This? I didn't write this to be a book. I wrote it because I couldn't bring myself to say it out loud - especially to my mom. There were things I needed to let out, memories I had to walk through, and feelings I didn't know how to explain with words. So I started writing. Most of what I shared here are the harder parts of growing up - the bullying, the loneliness, the loss of my dad. But that's not the whole story. There were happy moments too, and the reason I could get through the bad ones was because I had a place to come back to. A home. A mom who's always been there. A dad who taught me so much before he left. Now, I have real friends. I laugh more. I feel like I belong. I'm discovering new things and I'm truly happy with where I am. But none of that would've been possible if I didn't have that safe place to return to - the house I grew up in, the people who raised me. I also wrote this for anyone who might be going through something similar. If you feel alone, or like you don't fit in, or if you've lost someone important - I hope this helps. Even just a little. Thank you, Mom. Thank you, Dad.

This is an collection. Or perhaps a more accurate term would be a diary for the past year and half of my life that chronologies the tragic loves of my seventeen year old life.

In a stream of consciousness mode, Glaring Shadow is the self-account of the life and times of a man, who liquidates his immense wealth only to consign it to the flames. The agony and ecstasy of his life as he makes it big in our materialistic world and the way he loses his soul in the bargain, only to regain it when tragedy strikes him makes one ponder over the meaning of success in life. This philosophical 'novel of a memoir' is a compelling read that is conducive to contemplate about the nature and scope of human relationships.

At a highest of #5 in poetry on 26/12/2015 We are not afraid to love, but are afraid of not being loved back... "I didn't choose to love you, it just happened, I desired to hate you, but it didn't happen All for once, you seemed to light The darkness encompassing my soul, And a mate- To devour my loneliness"... It wasn't my mouth, rather my heart. I didn't speak this out, but felt to the optimum... I did love...someone...my best friend ever...but he couldn't love me back, and the very thought would induce a certain fear in me, a dreadful insecurity, which I suppose, was to leave its footprints on the ages to come... This is my life;this is my memoir;this is my soul, all bound by a common thread- the thread of my isolated mind, and the fabric of my forbidden love...
