Growing up feels like standing at the edge of a path you've never walked before, exciting, but also scary. This is the story of Celeste Hope Rivera, a Grade 12 student standing right between the comfort of school life and the big, wide world of college and adulthood. She dreams of independence, of finding her place, and of becoming the person she wants to be. But as graduation comes near, she finds herself asking "Am I really ready?" Thought late night study sessions, tough decisions, and moments of doubt and hope, Celeste learns that growing up isn't about having all answers. Its about taking one brave step at a time, even when the road ahead is unclear. Inspired by the song "Mapa" by SB19, this story is a warm reminder that every step forward, no matter how uncertain, Is part of growing into yourself.

This is my story. A story that might sound like many others, but for me it will always remain unique. It is the story of something that has always been my dream. A dream that, at a certain point, I decided to truly follow. And it all began on an autumn day, with a phone call and a plane ticket...

Oftentimes when you go through life it becomes messy. You have terrible breakups, you lose loved ones too soon, or someone fades away in the background without you noticing. In the quieter moments I find myself reflecting on those who I wonder after, those who I lost, or those who invade my dreams. These are autobiographical letters for those I miss, resent, love, hate, or a mixture of emotions that have no name, the ghosts I wrestle with. This is how I choose to cope.

I have been underestimated by doctors many times in my life as well as by other people because of my ethnicity, Orientation and also my disabilities particularly PTSD as I was born in a war zone this is my starred on my life this is the life that I have left is for enjoy reading it might have some scary parts in it so be aware. I never liked the façade of romance movies, and I sure never liked not living a real life fairytale. Except now... I do. It just took a slow burn to get me to my castle. And to understand I was waiting for a princess, not a prince.

In a stream of consciousness mode, Glaring Shadow is the self-account of the life and times of a man, who liquidates his immense wealth only to consign it to the flames. The agony and ecstasy of his life as he makes it big in our materialistic world and the way he loses his soul in the bargain, only to regain it when tragedy strikes him makes one ponder over the meaning of success in life. This philosophical 'novel of a memoir' is a compelling read that is conducive to contemplate about the nature and scope of human relationships.

This is a semi-autobiographical poem I wrote 20 years ago . I was becoming aware of the statistics around childhood sexual abuse and feared that my preschooler would suffer the same fate that I did as a young girl. If I had to slap a rating on this, it would be PG-13.

Every life is extraordinary if you make the effort to scratch beneath the surface and see what's there, how it got to be the way it is and where it's going. These posts are my means of externalising and codifying parts of my life and thoughts in an effort to reflect. Sometimes it gets heavy, sometimes it's light. Sometimes I want to write about holidays while other times I'm thinking about my missing socks. It's a real mixed bag (so far), but I'm pretty certain that there will be things that you can relate to if you take the time to read a post or two.
