Why I Wrote This? I didn't write this to be a book. I wrote it because I couldn't bring myself to say it out loud - especially to my mom. There were things I needed to let out, memories I had to walk through, and feelings I didn't know how to explain with words. So I started writing. Most of what I shared here are the harder parts of growing up - the bullying, the loneliness, the loss of my dad. But that's not the whole story. There were happy moments too, and the reason I could get through the bad ones was because I had a place to come back to. A home. A mom who's always been there. A dad who taught me so much before he left. Now, I have real friends. I laugh more. I feel like I belong. I'm discovering new things and I'm truly happy with where I am. But none of that would've been possible if I didn't have that safe place to return to - the house I grew up in, the people who raised me. I also wrote this for anyone who might be going through something similar. If you feel alone, or like you don't fit in, or if you've lost someone important - I hope this helps. Even just a little. The agony and ecstasy of his life as he makes it big in our materialistic world and the way he loses his soul in the bargain, only to regain it when tragedy strikes him makes one ponder over the meaning of success in life. This philosophical 'novel of a memoir' is a compelling read that is conducive to contemplate about the nature and scope of human relationships.

A poorly written recollection of my life and how I got to where I am today. This is a love story, about meeting my soul mate and our journey along the way. But in order to tell a story of where you are, you must share about how you got there. Learn of my struggles with drugs, self mutilation and finding myself as a young woman.
