Aprender a soltar aquello que nos hizo bien durante un tiempo, pero después ya no más, es un acto difícil de realizar.

Lila siempre había sido una niña con una imaginación desbordante. Pero hasta ahora, su mundo de fantasía se limitaba a los dibujos que plasmaba en su cuaderno y las historias que contaba a sus juguetes. Un día, mientras exploraba la antigua cómoda de su abuela en el ático, descubrió un mundo nuevo: un guardarropa lleno de ropa que contaba historias.

It's Zenith's 105th Aging Day and Liza is anxious to find out what the Government has in store for her. When she finally sees her year's plan, she finds that the Government planned for her to change her lifestyle completely. Though she's upset about this, she can't do anything about it. Like the loss of her parents and her year's plan wasn't bad enough, the Government calls to notify her of the death of her brother, Jem. soon her life changes, but not exactly the way the Government had planned. Bad things come up one after the other, and Liza is faced with the truth behind everything. But even with all this bad luck, she feels that there is still hope in the downfall of Zenith's odious government.
