Kathrin Mueller and Kevin Disney are drivers in the IndyCar series... and they do not like each other. Kathrin is a lesbian, from Germany, a rookie ready to take IndyCar by storm. Kevin, little relation if any to Walt, is from Chicago, USA, an established but young driver and the inheriter of an Indy legacy looking to make his own mark. Despite being very different, they have more in common than they think. But this is racing, not a Sunday drive. After a contentious first meeting, a rivalry begins. They both have the same goals and dreams: to win the Indianapolis 500. How they get there will be different, but no one is entitled to win a race, and sometimes, you've got to lose to know how to win. Their rivalry, which flares up right around the time of the 500, will define their auto racing careers. M/F and F/F content. Originally started in 2015, some of the writing is pretty bleh at times early on.

Sawyer Drummon has been fighting to prove that he's the best race car driver in the world since he was a child. As the season approaches, he's ready for another fight to the top. This year, however, things are different. When GWT Racing hires Mackenzie Thomas, the first female engineer in racing, Sawyer sees his chance to be on top, in more ways than one.

Good finishes are hard to come by in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series as it is. Add in the fact that you're a female driver? That makes it even more difficult. That's where having close friends that also happen to be race car drivers can be a real benefit. I only take credit for the plot and my original characters.
