Everyone in town trusts her because she's honest, terrifyingly competent, and has been fixing people's trucks since she was fifteen. Clarke meanwhile is trying to scrape together enough money to open a café/art studio hybrid downtown. Paint nights, local music, messy creativity. She wants warmth. Community. Color.
