Storm King's spirit seeks revenge on the hippogriffs by setting a curse on Autumn and Terrarmar's child, turning him into a uncontrollable monster. Though Twilight was able to keep their child under control by sealing his dark power into a ring wore around his neck, the Hippo-Kirin Niyak, the curse still held him.
