After Finny's tragic accident, Autumn gives herself one final chance to be with him before she can't.

After his death, Finny converses his experience after death and all of his regrets of what he should've and shouldn't have done before the time had came. But he does give out an important confession to Autumn even if he was never there to let her hear it.

jack heard about noah smith, and instantly hated her. so when he sees her at finn's wake and finds out she's moving closer to live where finny grew up. he was furious, but reminded himself he's going to college and all will be good. but he never expected to randomly talk to her and actually enjoy the time spent. it reminded him of finny and the closure of his missing piece. but he forgot one big thing about himself. that he's finnys best friend. noah's always felt like an outsider, with her father being a work alcoholic and a mother that stays home. she's never got the closure she's needed. she'd loved the days she could go see finny and finally get away from her parents and her house. but it all blows up august 8th. her father decides he wants to move closer. moving would be a good idea noah could get to know more about where finny grew up. but she never thought about meeting a guy she'd fall for. will jack telling noah ruin everything?

i am a delusional person. i refuse to believe the true ending of the story. so i wrote it myself even though i can't articulate real thoughts.

This is a fanfiction based off Laura Nowlins' bestsellers "If He Had Been With Me" and "If Only I Had Told Her" Phoebe Davis is exactly like her mother, Autumn Davis, personality-wise, but is the spitting image of her father. After the death of Finny, Autumn has raised her daughter solo with only the help of The Mothers, but has decided not to tell Phoebe the truth about Finnys' death until she turns sixteen---which is only a few months away. Though when Phoebe finds the manuscript of the book her mother wrote, along with her journals, everything unfolds--terribly. Heartbroken, confused, and upset, Phoebe flees with the first person she can find...which just so happens to be her childhood nemesis, Nathan Hallows.

all characters are the work of Laura Nowlin. this is a continuation of events, three months later. Autumn is four months pregnant and it starts the morning before finny's funeral.

Sylvie whitehouse's life is good. She has friends, family, a good boyfriend.. well, what she likes to say is a good boyfriend. Finn Smith and Autumn Davis have known each other since they were young, and even though Finn loves Sylvie, she can't help but wonder if he likes a certain brunette girl a little bit more..

Epilogue from both autumn and finny's perspectives.

This book absolutely broke me so here is a different happy ending that they both deserve Might do multiple different ending not sure yet. This is also not the actual story this is just another ending that will hopefully make it happier.

My interpretation of if Finny had not died that night. I read this book a few months ago, and reread a few days ago. I think Laura Nowlin has an amazing mine, but I just could not accept the fate of my Finny. The author has this talent to make all of the characters seem like they're not just fictional and for her work to seep into every crevice of your being. It's such a special talent. I do not own these characters. Laura Nowlin created them.
