Kagome and I had a great time together in her world, but today she is dead for a long time already. Day by day I realize that without Kagome I don't belong in this time anymore. I'm immortal but she was mortal. The wish to be mortal appeared. Then one day I meet the chemist and biologist Masaru. He promised to help me so he started experimentalising with me. Some day the tide is turning and Masaru suddenly dissapears. Thereby his daughter Korra finds me. She notices that I'm different, but also I see a difference in her. Together we try to solve the mystery.

The Avatar has always been there to help stop the Fire Rebels; a powerful force that threatens to overthrow the Fire Nation. But ever since Avatar Korra died, the Rebels have grown in size and strength. The White Lotus has been looking frantically for the next Avatar, but found nothing. It has been 10 years and the Avatar has still not arisen, leaving the rest of the world in chaos. Many people believe that Raava's spirit was too weak to reincarnate. The Legend Reborn is a story I wrote in late 2014 about the Avatar after Korra. After the release of the Legend of Korra follow up comics I went back and added references to the events of the comics but didn't change my story. Following the 2021 announcement of Avatar Studios I decided to share my ideas since it's very possible Bryke could decide to continue the Avatar Cycle and render my story implausible. I hope they instead decide to go backwards (possibly a Kyoshi series) since there are also many other great fan projects that would be rendered implausible by a Korra sequel (notably The Legend of Genji, a project very different from my own but has my respect and admiration). But who am I to disagree with what Mike and Bryan do with their own fantastic universe.
