In a world where many bend only fire, air, water, or earth, the Avatar masters all four to keep the peace and serve as the bridge between the Spirits and humanity. For thousands of years, one avatar would be born after the other to maintain the balance in the world. Such is the case after the sudden death of Avatar Korra, but in a world changing for the worse. As the poor and downtrodden begin to fill the great cities of the Elemental Nations, a mysterious group of benders slowly and secretly recruits them with the promise of power. Hopefully, the new avatar can deal with this threat alongside his new friends. There is one problem: he can't bend any element.

Korra is the new Avatar. Book 1 of this retelling follows Korra and her own Team Avatar as they fight the terror that plagues Republic City, the heart of the United Republic of Nations. Can Korra be just like Aang and bring balance to an ever changing world? Or will peace and order fall? Author's Note Hi all, This is my retelling/fanfiction of Avatar Legend of Korra. I personally don't like the word FANFICTION but it is what it is. When I watched LoK when it first came out it didn't have the same spark to me as TLA. This is my first time ever writing a project like this so I doubt I can catch that rare lightning in a bottle but I'm optimistic. The prologue will be published first and I'll take it from there. The first few episodes will be somewhat similar but also very different to the canon universe. I can promise you that Book 2 Spirits will be totally different.
