This new relationship between them has grown dramatically over the past year, and by now, she was very comfortable with admitting that yes, she was now Steve Rogers's kid. Of course, things had been getting strange. She'd gotten a new boyfriend in the process of trying to get over her last one(who just so happened to be Loki Laufeyson, the guy who nearly killed her 4 years ago) and she'd been trying to settle down and become as normal as a magic-wielding person can get. However, when she's called up by her new father, she has no choice but to hurl herself into a civil war between two groups of superhumans. Let's get one thing straight- Ava Wilder was picked up by the Avengers for two reasons: her magic skillset and her ability to burn NYC to the ground. She now lives in Avengers tower, and the time is post-2012, a month after the attack on NYC. One day, a shock comes to the team when Thor suggests that he bring home his brother, Loki, god of mischief. The crew agrees to let him stay, but for only a week, just to see how it goes. They also agree on two conditions: he can't leave, and the newbie(Ava) has to watch his every move. During the week he has, Loki is determined to gain Ava's trust, though Ava is unsure as to why. Will he trick her and escape? Or does he, by any chance, actually want to be friends? Or perhaps even less likely- want something more than "friends"?
